Mission

Winter Haven Adventist Academy exists to provide:

Wisdom and Harmony, Anchored in Achievement

God's Wisdom,

The Holy Spirit's Harmony,

Anchored in Jesus Christ our Savior and

Achieving success together.

Philosophy of Faith

The Winter Haven Adventist Academy is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church to provide spiritually oriented education for children. A belief in the existence of the Creator God is fundamental in the philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist schools. We respect His divine authority and recognize His intervention in human affairs. We believe that true education develops the spiritual, mental, and physical powers of each student; preparing them for the joy of service in this life and for the higher joy of service in the life to come.

The Winter Haven Adventist Academy is operated in harmony with the guidance and direction of the Office of Education, North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Proud Member of FLCOE

Winter Haven Adventist Academy is proud to be a part of the Florida Conference Office of Education—FLCOE, pronounced “Flow-Koh”—a statewide network of Seventh-day Adventist schools and early childhood centers.

Across the network, FLCOE schools share a commitment to helping students discover and develop their God-given potential through Christ-centered education, meaningful learning experiences, quality instruction, and school communities shaped by faith and grace.

At WHAA, that shared commitment is expressed in a way that remains distinctly local. We are rooted in Seventh-day Adventist Education values and Bible principles, responsive to the needs of our students, and deeply connected to families throughout Winter Haven and greater Polk County Community.
